Age: For all intents and purposes, sixteen. In reality, probably a fair amount older. Gender: Female. Species: Sidhe Fae Pronoun Usage: She/her, they/them Orientation: Pansexual
Sidhe Abilities: Glamours Immunity to illusions Ability to communicate with any living thing
Personal Abilities: Aednat has a focus on her healing. Fixing others' injuries is as easy as a thought for her. It does take a little bit out of her, but it's still fairly simple. Very bad wounds, such as broken bones, are still possible, but they take more out of her. Or, well, that was the case. Now it seems she can only heal small injuries; scrapes, bruises, the like. She shares a telepathic link with her twin.
Sidhe Weaknesses: Unable to lie Iron burns, and weakens her magic Compelled to keep promises Compelled to settle all debts
Height: 5'5" Weight: Much, much lighter than she appears. Aednat is very fine-featured, and looks classically fae. Very dark red hair, pale skin, and a fair amount of freckles. Her eyes are an impossibly vivid green.
She prefers to wear bright, vibrant colors of clothes, and she keeps her hair long. It's very curly.
Personality: As with most fae, Aednat is capricious, but she tends to be benevolent. Her sibling can attest she used to share much more similarities with them, but after seeing the death of her mother she has become much more quiet and reserved. She is silent, in fact, and refuses to speak at all; a mute.
She is very attached and clingy to her twin. She doesn't sleep without them near her; she grows anxious and frantic when she doesn't know where they are. Her clinginess only extends to them. When they're around, she's a lot like them: care-free, laissez-faire, easygoing. Without them she is distant, aloof, even cold towards others.
But she is also very compassionate; she would never hesitate to heal someone hurt, and every injury seems to draw a lot of sympathy from her.
She does find amusement from her sibling's pranks, though they get scolded if they do anything harmful towards others.
Strengths: She is charming and charismatic when she wants to be. A pretty face and some kind gestures can go a long way.
She can be fairly manipulative. She is mute, she is quiet, she clings to her sibling. It makes her seem a lot weaker than she is, and she uses this to her advantage.
She is somewhat musically talented; she used to be quite the singer until she lost her voice. She still can play the flute and piano.
Weaknesses: For one thing, she can't speak. It's hard to communicate needs and desires this way.
She is very, very reliant on her twin. For pretty much everything. To the point where she can't stay calm without them nearby.
Her twin is her blind spot. They can do no wrong in her eyes, and she will not believe any bad words about them.
She is terrified of dragons. Like freeze-in-place full-on-panic terror. She saw one kill her mother. They are only bad news.
Likes: Her twin, obviously, but that's more adoration than anything. Beautiful starry nights, where the sky seems forever. Sunny days. Freshly fallen snow. Music.
Dislikes: People trying to get her to talk. Being away from her brother. Anyone who hurts her brother.
History: Aislin and Aednat were raised in the Seelie court. Their mother was one of Titania's closest friends. They were quite young when Aednat witnessed the gruesome death of their mother. Aislin has not left her side since.
They were raised by the faerie queen, for a while, but decided they weren't suited to court life. They effectively ran away from home and have roamed ever since.
Both know they would still be welcomed to return to the Seelie court and resume their roles as the adopted daughters of a queen, but have no desire to do so.
Aednat is scared of being by herself, but Aislin has taken care to make sure she functions at least basically without them. Still, she prefers to be with them and is very clingy.
